At we YCCA, we feel that the audition process is integral, not only to the student, but for the instructors as well. Each audition (or assessment, as we call it) allows the student to experience the emotions involved in playing in front of "judges." Auditions are nerve-wracking, but are a necessary part of life. The YCCA feels that the more auditions one experiences, the more relaxed you'll be when auditioning for college and in the professional field.
All students who wish to participate in our programming are required to prepare a skill assessment. Students are encouraged to prepare as much of the prepared material as possible. To schedule your audition, please contact us at (315) 336-3500, ext. 226
