Kristin Hahn: Clarinet

Kristin Hahn holds Bachelor and Master Degrees in Music Education and Performance from the Eastman School of Music and Ithaca College, respectively. Her summer studies include performances at the Aspen Music Festival and the Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara, California. 

A native Roman, Ms. Hahn began her teaching career as a music teacher with the Rush-Henrietta Central School District. While in Rochester, she played professionally in many orchestras around the area, including the Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic, the Greater Rochester Women’s Philharmonic, the University of Rochester Symphony Orchestra, and the Janus Orchestra of Houghton College.  In addition, she was first clarinetist in both the Greater Rochester Music Educators Wind Band and the Flower City Parks Band. 

She is co-founder of the Rome Community Concert Band and its outreach organizations, the New Horizons Band for seniors and the RCCB Clarinet Trio. 

Ms. Hahn plays part time with the Utica Symphony Orchestra and is a teacher in the Holland Patent Central School District.
